About the role
- Applications Sales Engineer Our Idaho Falls business unit is looking for an Applications Sales Engineer to join their team!
- You will interact with clients to assess nuclear plant processes and align product needs with Curtiss-Wright offerings.
- Please note, this is not a commissioned sales role.
Responsibilities
- You will collaborate with internal technical teams to provide and deliver according to client's specifications and be a champion for customer requirements to ensure expectations are met.
- Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and develop proposals and that comply with client's requirements in matters of content, format, and structure.
- Interact with engineering groups to assist in the conceptual design of equipment.
- Assist with the creation of project planning documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5 years of related experience.
- Proven ability to work closely with a diverse group of sales and technical experts, and to translate technical information into compelling sales messaging.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
- Technical Proficiency, knowledge of IEEE standards.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take direction and work independently
- Knowledge of analog circuit design.
- Passionate customer service mindset, values responsive and proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
- Effective professional writing skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage competing obligations.
- Interest in working within a highly collaborative team.
