Requirements

Nice to have

  • Previous Quality Assurance, laboratory experience
  • Previous experience in food processing or meat processing
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in food science or related field
  • Work in both cold and hot environments, lift up to 40 pounds, Walking, standing, weekend work required, irregular hours, (8-9 hours/day), overtime as needed.
  • Travel is limited.
  • Please Note: No Jewellery, no Hooded shirts, no fake nails/eyelashes, hair to be covered by hairnet on production floor, beard to be covered by beard net on production floor.
  • Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Screen Test.

Skills

  • The position involves more "floor work" than lab work.
  • 15% - Perform equipment calibrations and data entry.
  • Place non-compliant production on hold/release product as needed and communicate with Operations.
