Responsibilities
- Build and own long-range financial models that forecast multi-year revenue, unit economics, and investment scenarios across Skylo's core verticals.
- Maintain and evolve scenario planning tools that allow leadership to pressure-test strategy under different market conditions.
- Support ad hoc strategic work, including capital raises, M&A, and other high-impact initiatives, providing financial modeling and analytical support as needed.
- Evaluate strategic partnership and commercial deal structures, assessing financial impact, risk, and trade-offs to support executive decision-making.
- Build and maintain competitive landscaping frameworks and surface white-space opportunities relevant to Skylo's growth.
- Lead the development of strategic materials for the Board of Directors and investors, translating complex operational data into clear, compelling narratives.
- Partner with FP&A on select outputs (board packages, quarterly reviews) where strategic framing is essential.

Nice to have
- 5+ years in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, management consulting, FP&A or comparable analytical role.
- Experience working on special projects or cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholders.
- Has built at least one reusable prompt workflow for a recurring finance deliverable
- can describe it and the time it saved.
- Background in satellite, aerospace, deep tech, or a technically complex industry is strongly preferred.
- Candidates with a strong understanding of complex hardware/software systems and long development cycles will be prioritized.
- Prior experience at a high-growth, venture-backed startup (Series A through C) is advantageous.
- Has connected AI tools to live data sources (e.g., CRM, financial databases) to automate recurring competitive or pipeline monitoring is a strong plus.

- The compensation range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 + equity.
