About the role
- As a Packaging Technical Operator, you will be a key member of our manufacturing team, responsible for operating, setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting packaging equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
- You will take ownership of your assigned work area, helping us meet production goals while following GMPs, SOPs, and established work standards.
- Safely operate and monitor packaging equipment to meet safety, quality, and production targets
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment setup, cleaning, changeovers, and troubleshooting to support efficient operations
- Maintain material availability and support efficient inventory and waste management practices

Requirements
- A minimum of a HS Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in production, mechanical troubleshooting, or a related field required
- Prior manufacturing or packaging experience, including equipment setup and changeovers, or demonstrated experience troubleshooting multiple mechanical systems
- Must have basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry.
- Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to create and follow detailed documentation.

Nice to have
- Prior experience in a regulated environment (GMP, Pharmaceutical, food or similar) is a plus.
- Prior work experience in manufacturing performing equipment set-up and change-overs, or similar demonstrated experience in multi-system mechanical troubleshooting.
- Experience with a lean organization or other prior exposure to lean concepts, tools and techniques.
- Ability to lift 5-25 lbs. frequently and occasionally lift drums, bags and cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
- This position requires the regular use of various PPE including but not limited to the following: bump cap, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and N95 or PAPR.
- All required PPE will be provided.
- Able to function productively with minimal supervision.
