Responsibilities
- CFD Research has earned multiple national awards for successful application and commercialization of innovative component/system technology prototypes, multi-physics simulation software, multi-disciplinary analyses, and expert support services.
- In this role you will support both rapid prototyping and detailed hardware development.
- This individual will work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and support all aspects of control system design, development, and test.
Requirements
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant ABET-accredited STEM degree with 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Rockwell Automation PLC Programming
- Working knowledge of Studio 5000 and Factory Talk software
- Knowledge of National Instruments DAQ systems
- Knowledge of applicable safety codes
- The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial motor control system automation, Rockwell Automation PLC hardware, and supporting electrical system knowledge.
- Ability to establish network communications and remote Windows workstations
- Electrical system design, layout, integration, and test
- Experience in developing and interpreting electrical schematics
- Comfortable working in a prototyping environment
Compensation
