About the role

  • The Cloud Test Automation Engineer will be primarily responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and quality processes for cloud-based and device software.
  • This person will work closely with various teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and high-quality software releases, supporting both developer operations and IT in the cloud and on premises.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for cloud and device software.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to identify test gaps and improve testability of systems.
  • Troubleshoot test failures and support root-cause analysis across test and production environments.
  • Support cloud environments and pipelines as needed, including basic AWS operations and infrastructure automation.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., PyTest, Selenium/playwright, API testing)
  • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines with emphasis on automated testing

Skills

  • Palo Alto, California (Hybrid, 3 days per week)
  • This position reports to the Senior Manager, Cloud and will be a key contributor to the Cloud and DevOps Teams
