Responsibilities
- Monitor all phases of the press operation through the press control panel, making process adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production standards.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to identify root causes of equipment or process issues and coordinate repairs with Maintenance when necessary.
- Set up and perform material and color changeovers, including changing filters, purging systems, cleaning receivers, and restarting production.
- Clean and maintain molds, mold lids, equipment, and work areas to support quality and 5S standards.
- Maintain responsibility for production output, material quality, and inventory accuracy.
- Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and material confirmations using the company's ERP system (Movex).
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment through housekeeping and continuous improvement (5S) initiatives.
- In this role, you will operate and monitor press equipment, ensure product quality, perform routine equipment maintenance, and support efficient production operations.
Requirements
- Calibrate equipment and tools as required.
- Monitor master batches and perform bulk density checks when required.

- Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use measuring devices and perform basic mathematical calculations.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice to have
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Forklift operating experience or certification preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience using production or ERP systems is a plus.
Compensation
- $23.51 per hour
- The salary for this position starts at $23.51.
