About the role
- As a Business Analyst at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in supporting and elevating the performance of the Electrical Business Unit.
- This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys influencing business decisions through data and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and KPIs to monitor commercial performance and pricing effectiveness.
- Partner with commercial leadership to support pricing strategies, including price optimization and margin improvement initiatives.
- Build predictive and scenario-based models to support S&OP planning and business forecasting.
- Standardize and maintain data integrity across ERP, CRM, and BI platforms to ensure a single source of truth.
- Conduct market, customer, and product segmentation analyses to support go-to-market strategies.
- Support strategic initiatives such as new product launches, footprint optimization, and supply chain improvements.
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and business teams to enhance reporting capabilities and data accessibility.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards.
- Working knowledge of SQL or similar data querying tools.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategy, cost structures, and margin dynamics in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to executive audiences.
- Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Compensation
- Zekelman Industries offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits, including low-cost, high-quality medical and dental benefits.

- Annual Compensation: $95,000-$135,000
