About the role

  • As a Business Analyst at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in supporting and elevating the performance of the Electrical Business Unit.
  • This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys influencing business decisions through data and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and KPIs to monitor commercial performance and pricing effectiveness.
  • Partner with commercial leadership to support pricing strategies, including price optimization and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Build predictive and scenario-based models to support S&OP planning and business forecasting.
  • Standardize and maintain data integrity across ERP, CRM, and BI platforms to ensure a single source of truth.
  • Conduct market, customer, and product segmentation analyses to support go-to-market strategies.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as new product launches, footprint optimization, and supply chain improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT, finance, and business teams to enhance reporting capabilities and data accessibility.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or JD Edwards.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or similar data querying tools.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, cost structures, and margin dynamics in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to executive audiences.
  • Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
