Responsibilities

  • The Fraud Countermeasure Team Lead drives the tactical defense layer of Veriff's Fraud Platform.
  • You will manage a team of fraud experts, own the attack-backlog roadmap, and ensure every countermeasure maximises protection while preserving user experience, speed, and trust.
  • Lead, grow, and develop a Fraud Countermeasures team that ships high-impact fraud rules at pace by nurturing a team culture of accountability, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Own end-to-end delivery-plan sprints, remove blockers, and help team ship countermeasures in hours, not weeks, while communicating crisp updates to execs and the wider company.

Requirements

  • performing other unforeseen tasks as required.
  • 3+ years leading operations team fighting online fraud at scale in fintech, identity, or similar domains.
  • you can turn raw data into attack stories and metrics.
  • A strategic mindset and proven ability to align team efforts with measurable business impact.

Skills

  • Experience in implementing new tools or technologies to enhance fraud detection capabilities.
