The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in all facets of government contracting, capable of operating independently, and will be expected to take on increasing responsibility as C3 AI continues to expand.

Serve as the lead attorney for C3 AI's Federal business, driving growth through all phases of government acquisitions, including RFP/capture support, contract negotiation, administration, and compliance.
Lead front-end assessments of business pursuits, analyze solicitations, and advise on risk mitigation in accordance with company standards and policies.
Develop and execute negotiation strategies, understanding how terms and conditions affect pricing, schedules, and performance.

8+ years of relevant government contracts experience, with a strong preference for a combination of law firm and in-house roles.
Subject matter expertise in all facets of U.S. Government contracting, including deep knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, and other agency supplements.
Significant experience with ITAR/EAR regulations and export compliance.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.

Deep substantive knowledge of enterprise software, SaaS, PaaS, software licensing, and channel distribution models is a significant plus.
