About the role

Experience applying IEC 60601-1 and related medical device electronics standards is desirable.

Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including marketing, hardware, software, catheter design, and manufacturing, to refine design requirements for next-generation intravascular ultrasound devices.
Performing tests and debugging designs while maintaining comprehensive documentation aligned with the quality system to support the seamless transition from design to production, adhering to established development procedures.
You're an effective communicator, both orally and in writing, able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with company management and outside business associates.

Strong background is HDL is required.
Your skills include proficiency with FPGA design tools, schematic capture software, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, emulators, and other lab equipment for testing and debugging electronic designs.
You have a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
Additionally, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and highly matrixed organization are required.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

You've acquired 5+ years of experience in the design and development of analog and digital electronics and FPGAs, preferably within medical electronics.
Experience with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electrostatic discharge (ESD), and signal integrity testing to international standards is required, and familiarity with embedded software development is a bonus.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
This is an onsite role.
