About the role

The Residential Coordinator provides essential 24-hour awake coverage and supervision of a large Fairfax County emergency shelter for households with minor children.
This facility is a 85-unit hotel and provides a total of 344 beds.
This position is responsible for crisis intervention, facilities management, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the front desk and maintaining a positive living environment within the shelter.

The Residential Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for client needs and support.

A bachelor's in human services/ related field 1 year of experience in customer service Experience working in programs serving homeless families Experience working in a residential environment
