About the role

The role reports to Guardian's Head of Enterprise Strategy & Planning.
Your work will span across: - Enterprise-wide strategy development - Work to define the strategic direction, with both near-term and long-term priorities for Guardian.
You will use both formal and informal channels to engage with leaders and Guardian colleagues.

A strategic problem-solver, with demonstrated experience in using frameworks and analysis to make data-driven decisions or recommendations for questions that don't have easy answers.
A confident communicator (both oral and written) with experience in presenting to senior audiences in highly visible roles
Highly organized and efficient, with ability to prioritize across multiple projects and competing demands at any given time

Bachelor's degree from a top institution with strong academic performance and demonstrated leadership ability
MBA from top-tier business school preferred, but not required
8+ years of experience in roles related to management and strategy consulting, business management or internal corporate strategy functions
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Experience in insurance and/ or financial services is preferred, but not required
Experience at a top management consulting firm is preferred, but not required

Have exposure to, and play a role in shaping, the agendas of key stakeholders
Gain exposure to other roles and lines of business in the company
Be mentored and coached by experienced leaders on problem solving, communications and leadership skills

$152,290.00 - $250,195.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position.
The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
