About the role
- Prepare incident reports for student and staff injuries
- Consult with teachers, school administrators and other school staff regarding student care
- Educate students and staff on health procedures
Responsibilities
- Develop care plans for students with ongoing conditions
- Driven to deliver rigorous instruction by emphasizing student engagement with complex texts, critical thinking, and comprehensive literary analysis
Requirements
- A minimum degree of Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or Registered Nurse License is required.
- Experience working in collaboration with other nurses and with students.
- Experience with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity is a must.
- Demonstrated compliance experience required. Managed an audit process is highly preferred.
- Achievers is a public charter school and the successful candidate will be a pensioned, 10-month employee with benefits
Nice to have
- Candidate possessing a Standard School Nurse Certificate (CSN) for the state of NJ and will have all professional licenses and required training up to date is highly preferred
- Demonstrated compliance experience required.
