About the role

Responsibilities
- You will own hardware designs for Helion's fusion generator prototypes.
- We are a fusion power company based in Everett, WA, with the mission to build the world's first fusion power plant, enabling a future with unlimited clean electricity.
Requirements
- You have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, applied mathematics, physics or related field with a minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
Skills
- Strong background in analytical, computational and numerical simulation methods
- A foundation of understanding of electromagnetic and thermal finite element modeling
- Experience in taking on analysis problems from formulation through testing and model correlation.
- Proficiency with multiphysics finite-element analysis tools such as COSMOL, ANSYS, Opera or equivalent
- Experience with programming environments (Matlab, Python, etc.) for scripting, tooling or data analysis
