About the role

We're looking for a Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant to join our growing Nordic team for a 12 month temporary/secondment.
Your work will have an impact by supporting our teams in the Facility Association.
People will count on you to work closely with the Underwriters in order to contribute to achieving our national goals.

Working closely to develop and maintain positive business partnerships with brokers and co-workers.

Minimum of 1 year of Insurance industry experience
Taking initiative, ability to prioritize and work under pressure
Computer proficient with the ability to navigate through multiple systems
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
Actively pursuing CIP designation is an asset
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized to manage workflow efficiently without continuous supervision
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and relationship building skills
Post secondary/Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

47,100 - 57,500
The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles.

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc.

Supporting the Nordic Commercial Lines underwriting teams by processing and amending new business, endorsements, renewals and cancellations within established authority level in accordance with company policies and procedures.
