About the role

Assignments are determined in consultation with studio faculty and the department chair and follow a regular weekly schedule.

Collaborate with faculty and students in the preparation of assigned repertoire.

Familiarity with and enthusiasm for classical vocal and/or musical theatre repertoire.
Ability to work effectively with students and faculty in both instructional and performance settings.

Maintain availability for end-of-semester jury examinations and other required assessment activities.

Familiarity with standard lyric diction and vocal repertoire in languages such as French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
Previous experience as a collaborative pianist in a conservatory, collegiate, professional, or pre-professional setting.
Ability to respond artistically and flexibly to the needs of individual students during lessons, rehearsals, and performances.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to supporting student artistic development.
