About the role
- The Applied Materials Division (AMD) at Argonne National Laboratory is looking to hire an Associate Materials Scientist - Carbon Beneficiation and Separation.
- This research and development position will report to the Resource Recovery and Separations Department.
- The position is broadly focused on securing a domestic supply chain for critical materials, such as graphite.
Requirements
- Proven track record showing the ability to carry out independent and collaborative research in a multidisciplinary team while meeting project deliverables and milestones.
- Ability to work with large volumes of hazardous chemicals.

- Expertise in beneficiation of minerals or materials, leaching, and separation technologies.

- The expected hiring range for this position is $94,486.00 - $147,398.94.
