About the role
- Role: SRE DevOps Engineer Location: Onsite- Santa Clara, CA(local) Contract: 6 months+ Need strong candidate STAFFXPERT is looking for an experienced SRE DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, CI/CD, Linux infrastructure, automation, and cloud/hybrid environments. Candidate should have excellent troubleshooting, communication, and production
- support experience with a strong DevOps/SRE background. Job Description/ Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools • Deploy, manage, scale, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads • Support Linux-based infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments •
Requirements
- 10+ years of overall IT experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment, management, scaling, and troubleshooting
- Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with infrastructure automation, scripting, and orchestration tools
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability platforms
- Experience with incident management, RCA, and production support activities
- Strong understanding of DevOps best practices, system reliability, and security standards
