About the role

This role centers around extracting clinical value from data produced by our proprietary sensors and systems (and beyond) to improve patient outcomes.
It's not everyday that you get a chance to make a direct impact on people's health.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that ingest, clean, transform, and consolidate data from multiple sources into reliable, structured outputs.
Develop backend services, APIs, and web interfaces that process data and present results and analytics to end users.

Requirements

As such, participants must be a current full-time student registered in a Canadian Post-secondary program.
Eligible participants must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada and be legally entitled to work.

Nice to have

Strong knowledge of data structures and database fundamentals. (SQL and relational database) Strong knowledge of back-end development (Python Preferred).
Good knowledge of website front-end development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS
React/TypeScript a plus).

Compensation

The pay for this position will be based on average co-op wages as outlined by your academic institution's co-op program or similar institutions if specific data is unavailable, ensuring fair and competitive compensation aligned with industry and academic standards.
The typical range for this role is $22 - $25 per hour for work terms 2-4.
Grant Eligibility: This position is made possible through wage subsidy grants such as BioTalent SWPP.
As such, participants must be a current full-time student registered in a Canadian Post-secondary program.
