About the role
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and inspection of industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
- Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
Responsibilities
- This role will require the ability to perform tasks such as cutting, welding, and fabricating new parts, as well as assembling equipment to meet operational requirements.
- AND DUTIES Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial machinery or equipment.
- Manage company-owned tool inventory.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
Requirements
- Work is day-shift with some evenings and weekends required to meet business goals.
- QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS High school degree or GED Completion of Trade School Certificate Program or Associates Degree preferred Must have knowledge of machines and tools, including machine and/or tool design, uses and maintenance requirements/history.
- Must be able to apply proper principles, techniques and procedures to the repair and maintenance of industrial machinery or equipment.
- Must be able to determine cause of operating errors and decide how to correct the issue(s).
- Must be able to discern what type and frequency of required maintenance is needed on industrial machinery or equipment.
