Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and site events that promote teamwork, inclusion, and positive employee experience.

- The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for coordinating and supporting the human resources activities for the Houston, TX Windows manufacturing facility.
- This position will build positive relationships within the groups and is the liaison with leaders.
Requirements
- 5 years progressive HR experience.
- 3+ years' experience in a generalist/functional role with exposure to compensation, performance management, training.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work at all levels within the organization
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish) required.
- Must be able to speak, understand, read and write in English and Spanish
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.
- Any additional duties and tasks as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. SHRM or HRCI certified professional a plus.
- 5 years progressive HR experience. 3+ years' experience in a generalist/functional role with exposure to compensation, performance management, training.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to work independently, and coordinate with colleagues in multiple locations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, high level of attention to detail and adaptability to changing business requirements
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish) required. Must be able to speak, understand, read and write in English and Spanish
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- SHRM or HRCI certified professional a plus.
- Strong computer skills, MS office products, Workday knowledge a plus
