About the role
- Helper Manufacturing A - C3203 Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes is excited to offer opportunities for a Helper Manufacturing A to join our Fabrication team in Auburn, Washington.
- In this dynamic role, you will assist your colleagues by utilizing production illustrations, specifications, and blueprints to accurately mark parts and prepare them for anodizing, etching, and painting applications.
- Your attention to detail will be crucial as you employ precision measuring instruments and computing software to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform various duties to assist other employees or work independently as assigned.
- Apply shop arithmetic, including decimals and fractions, to perform calculations related to work assignments.
- Follow quality requirements and specifications throughout all tasks to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience using basic math (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift
- Obtain and maintain required certifications and qualifications to perform assigned tasks.
- Document work processes and results as required for quality assurance and compliance.

- Willingness and ability to work overtime if needed
- Experience in tank line operations
