About the role

  • In this dynamic role, you will assist your colleagues by utilizing production illustrations, specifications, and blueprints to accurately mark parts and prepare them for anodizing, etching, and painting applications.
  • Your attention to detail will be crucial as you employ precision measuring instruments and computing software to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various duties to assist other employees or work independently as assigned.
  • Apply shop arithmetic, including decimals and fractions, to perform calculations related to work assignments.
  • Follow quality requirements and specifications throughout all tasks to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience using basic math (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
  • 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift
  • Obtain and maintain required certifications and qualifications to perform assigned tasks.
  • Document work processes and results as required for quality assurance and compliance.

  • Willingness and ability to work overtime if needed
  • Experience in tank line operations
