About the role

The Warehouse Picker 2 is primarily responsible for picking parts as directed.
You may be assigned to projects, area, and other responsibilities as assigned while working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor.

Maintain adequate supplies of materials to properly store inventory. Ensure the availability of accurate information for receiving of materials and storage of inventory.
Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
Perform functions on CSI relating to inventory issues, and/or closing out jobs.
Provide updates and implement improvement ideas regarding 5S, and efficiency opportunities.
Maintain critical discussions and information with supervisors regarding key points of focus on work order demand and opportunities for improvement.
Perform all other duties in the best interest of the company or as directed by Stockroom Supervisor and the Plant Manager.

One to Three years of experience in an inventory warehouse related role.
Ability to read and understand inventory procedures, shipping and receiving procedures.
Computer literature, knowledge of accepted inventory and standard purchasing/inventory practices.
Ability to communicate with others to exchange information both orally and in writing.
Prepare all stocking and materials transfer documents as required.
Issue parts as required per document specifications.

Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
Experience with multiple types of material handling equipment (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack).
Physical Requirements
This position is regularly exposed to the following conditions:
Manufacturing, warehouse and office environment.
While working near moving equipment, mechanical parts and lift trucks
must have the ability to follow safe operating procedures.

Coordinate with Inventory for stock transfers, discrepancies, cycle counting, etc.
