About the role
- Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Sealant Technician is responsible for apply sealants (silicone, polyurethane, acrylic, fire-rated, etc.) to joints, seams, and assemblies of sub-station buildings enclosures in accordance with specifications.
- Work Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM
- Apply sealants (silicone, polyurethane, acrylic, fire-rated, etc.) to joints, seams, and assemblies in accordance with specifications
Responsibilities
- Maintain consistent bead size, depth, and alignment across repeatable production builds
- Work with cross-functional teams (assembly, quality) to meet build specifications
- Maintain clean and organized work area, especially around finished surfaces
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements
- Follow required cure times, application conditions, and manufacturer guidelines
Skills
- Basic math skills to meet technical specifications and measurements
- Basic understanding of tools (ex. Tape measure, impact drill, etc.)

Company info
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of related experience in caulking or related functions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately
- Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management
- Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, and engineering diagrams
- Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor
