About the role
- The Structural Heart Coordinator will function as a central figure in the overall operations of the Valve Clinic with specific emphasis on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), and Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) program.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements protocols for care of valve patients which are evidence based
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in cardiovascular care
- Basic knowledge of procedures and biomedical products related to cardiology and cardiovascular procedures.
- Experience with data management systems and familiarity with clinical data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with office software specifically Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility and the ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed.
- Minimum of associate degree in health care field preferred or related clinical experience.
- Current RN license in good standing

- The Structural Heart Coordinator will report to the Cardiology Manager.
- Expected roles include direct patient contact and coordination of care as well as the coordination of weekly meetings and presentations.
- Coordinate the TVT and LAAO- NCDR data registry, including data collection, quality reports; outcomes report review, and analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
