About the role
- This is a skilled machining position responsible for operating and setting up CNC turning equipment while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and production efficiency.
- The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading blueprints, interpreting GD&T, working with G & M codes, setting tool offsets, and navigating CNC controls.
- Read and interpret GD&T and technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor machining processes to maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity.
- Maintain tooling, equipment, lifting devices, and the overall work cell.
Requirements
- Familiarity with G & M codes and CNC program editing.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the assigned work cell.
- Perform required quality checks and maintain inspection documentation.
Nice to have
- Experience with CNC machine setup preferred.
- Experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls is a plus.
