About the role

  • Flagship Health is seeking a dual Medical Assistant & Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
  • This dual-role position combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities, serving as a key point of contact for patients throughout their healthcare experience.
  • The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while supporting providers with patient care and ensuring smooth front-office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support telehealth scheduling and patient preparation for virtual visits.
  • Maintain exam room supplies and restock clinical inventory as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, providers, and team members while demonstrating professionalism, diplomacy, and tact.
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations and providing culturally sensitive care.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License, insurance, and ability to travel as required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current CPR Certification required.

  • Check patients in and out, verify demographic and insurance information, and collect required documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to assist in both clinical and administrative functions.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

  • Education & Certifications
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification required.

Nice to have

  • Bilingual English/Spanish and/or other languages strongly preferred.
