- Job Description Summary Adjunct Instructors are responsible for the facilitation of student learning and the on-going development of instructional strategies that meets the needs of students and employers and promote student success.
Requirements
- Associate degree or above in related and appropriate field, AND
- ASE, I-CAR, or OEM credentials required within first year of hire.
Nice to have
- Recent new-model, broad-based automotive collision repair experience preferred.
- Air Conditioning Certification preferred.
- AC Cert. is required to teach classes that involve the use of AC equipment.
Skills
- Travel: Instructor position may require off-site teaching, fieldwork, or travel for professional development.
- Driving/Operational: Qualified to operate a vehicle or equipment, as required in the position.
- Work Environment
- Work is commonly completed in person with elements supported in a virtual or hybrid environment.
- Work is typically performed in a classroom and laboratory.
- Work is occasionally performed outdoors during both daytime and nighttime hours, and in all conditions.
- Work environment may change based upon college needs.
