About the role
- Assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of staff clerical and administrative staff.
- Evaluates efficiency of the court's administrative functions and investigates procedural changes; prepares recommendations to the court.

Responsibilities
- may include administrative support such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and supervising the administrative activities of the court and limited judicial functions involving non-contested matters as assigned by the presiding county judge.
- Administers budget of the court; oversees expenditures and budgetary items ensuring all information is accessible for audit; maintains all records.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

Compensation
- Immediate Growth*: Earn a 2.5% pay increase after successfully completing your probation period (if starting at Hiring Rate).
- Starting Salary: $60,313.77 annually (Hiring Rate).
- Starting Rate Flexibility: Higher starting pay may be considered based on education and experience, subject to final management approval.
- Future Increases: Annual cost-of-living adjustments (applied on July 1) are subject to State Legislature approval.
- This classification level performs administrative and managerial work under the administrative direction of the presiding judge(s), in a county court with a total annual caseload of 3,500 and less than 7,000 (averaged over the last three years) or in the operation of two courts, county or district.
- 13 paid holidays annually
