Responsibilities

  • While pursuing certification, Fellows start working full-time in their own classroom at a district or charter school at the beginning of the 2026-27 school year.

Requirements

  • Must have bachelor's degree by June 2026
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must have a minimum 2.2 cumulative undergraduate GPA*
  • Applicants for employment with TNTP must have valid work authorization that does not require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the U.
  • Must currently be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must not be a licensed teacher (exception for Teach Minnesota)

  • Full Salary and Benefits: Teaching Fellows begin earning a full teacher's salary, plus comprehensive benefits.
