About the role

  • You will become a Charles River product expert and help to ensure that our software effectively aids our end users with their middle office workflows.
  • Your focus will be on the Post Trade module where users handle trade confirmation, matching, and settlement workflows.
  • You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, and contribute as a member of a feature-focused product development team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with integration partners/vendors on connectivity, workflows, data, and user experience
  • Produce business and technical requirement documents based on product roadmap, competitive analysis, and understanding of market and regulatory trends
  • Partner with engineering and QA to help develop, implement, and refine features
  • develop verification plans and processes
  • Provide client beta testing support and train personnel on capabilities of new product releases
  • Assist implementation and support to investigate and resolve critical client issues
  • Plan and schedule validation tasks; provide hands-on manual tests; develop verification plans and processes
  • Across the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development lifecycle experience, specifically Agile development methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Jira
  • Strong experience with workflows for post trade confirmation, matching, and clearing
  • Familiarity with venues such as CTM, TradeNexus, OSTTRA Trade Manager, Traiana, etc.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT and trade settlements
  • Experience with system integrations using API's, FIX, and file-based data exchange
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Advanced writing skills, including the ability to abstract/summarize highly detailed information
  • Strong analytical skills, including understanding complex data sets and the ability to reconcile conflicting data
  • You must be familiar with both financial and technical concepts, and have a strong ability to deliver against specific requirements within planned timelines.
  • BS Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or study of Business with an MIS background.

Nice to have

  • Strong technical background, including familiarity with SQL.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture a plus

Compensation

  • $80,000 - $140,000 Annual
  • incentive compensation including eligibility for annual performance-based awards (excluding certain sales roles subject to sales incentive plans)
