About the role

  • A Speech-language pathologist (SLP) provides cutting-edge subspecialized care.
  • Depending on the area of specialty, clinicians work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
  • The SLP will also mentor/supervise our in-house SLPAs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care and for billing purposes.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid California State License in Speech-Language Pathology- must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Talents Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team to achieve quality outcomes, while ensuring precise, timely documentation that meets all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.

  • Requirements/Qualifications: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Nice to have

  • Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) Equivalent to two (2) years of experience providing patient-based services. (preferred) Completion of ASHA supervision requirements. must be maintained throughout employment.
