Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the team delivers safe and high-quality program products within cost and schedule
  • Support production with issue resolution for delivered hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain team processes for capability development

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
  • 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's or 3+ years of work-related experience with a Masters or PhD
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • A final Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.
  • ​Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Candidates must gave at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership:"

Nice to have

  • 9+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor's or 7+ years of work-related experience with Masters or 4+ years with a PhD
  • 3+ years of experience with Mission Systems
  • 3+ years of experience in leading engineering teams
  • 1+ years of experience with Cost Account Management, Earned Value Management
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Agile development

Compensation

  • Level K (Manager): $130,00 - $190,900

  • The candidate will enable the Mission Systems organization to continue to expand its business base and will participate in advancing fighter aircraft technology by leading an Integration, Analysis and System Test Engineering team.
  • The team is responsible for developing system/subsystem requirements, participating with Software engineers with real-time Operational Flight Program (OFP) development, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in Flight Test.
  • Simulation and modeling is utilized to assist in requirements development, software development and offsets some Flight Test verification.
