About the role

  • The right candidate is comfortable owning a tracking system, anticipating what the Associate Dean will need before a meeting, and working independently with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain systems for tracking projects, action items, deadlines, and key undergraduate program metrics, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, briefing materials, correspondence, and data summaries related to pre-licensure nursing programs to support planning and decision-making.
  • Collect, organize, and summarize information from multiple sources to support operational planning and program initiatives.
  • Maintain electronic records, project files, and operational documentation for the Associate Dean's office in accordance with University policy, including monitoring renewal dates for existing partnership agreements.
  • The Orvis School of Nursing (OSN) is experiencing continued growth across its undergraduate academic programs, clinical partnerships, and student support operations.
  • To support this expansion, the school seeks a temporary, part-time Operations Specialist to provide direct operational, project, and administrative support to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies.
  • Unlike a traditional clerical support role focused on scheduling and routine office functions, this position emphasizes project coordination, follow-through, and operational problem-solving in support of the school's academic priorities.
