About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Fusion Electronics team and help build the next generation of electronics design capabilities. You are a strong software engineer and systems thinker who enjoys finding simple
  • solutions to complex problems, takes pride in your craft, and thinks about the product and customer, not just the code. You will work across architecture, implementation, and product workflows, taking ownership from design through delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, ship, and iterate on high-quality software for Fusion Electronics
  • Own features from design through implementation and delivery
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to solve customer problems
  • Help create electronics design workflows that improve engineering and sustainability outcomes
  • Strong software design, architecture, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience building and delivering complex, production-quality software

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong programming skills, including experience with C++ or similar systems programming languages
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AI-assisted development tools combined with strong engineering judgment
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and ability to learn new technologies and domains
  • You are a strong software engineer and systems thinker who enjoys finding simple solutions to complex problems, takes pride in your craft, and thinks about the product and customer, not just the code.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CAD, EDA/ECAD, or other complex engineering software
  • Knowledge of or passion for electronics and electronic product development

Compensation

  • Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package.
  • For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $117,000 and $209,330.
