About the role

  • Conduct Quality Assurance audits and routine checks, tests, gauging and instrument inspections of materials, work in process and finished product.
  • Assure company and product standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved.
  • Consult with Quality Manager to resolve quality, production and efficiency problems.

Responsibilities

  • Performs in-process, first piece inspection and first article using various measuring equipment.

Skills

  • Associates degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • Minimum two years experience in quality control.
  • Experience with operating or programming a Sheffield or Zeiss CMM preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong math skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Must be familiar with computers and computer software.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
