About the role
- anticipates delays to projects and takes appropriate mitigation steps.
- Keeps informed of federal, state, local, and industry regulations that affect emergency preparedness and ensures that program elements comply with these standards.
- Participates in the MGB Emergency Preparedness on-call program.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct project management support to emergency preparedness & continuity projects. Develops and communicates project plans and timelines

- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of project management experience required
- Ability to work with a great degree of autonomy.
- May be required to attend meetings outside of regularly scheduled hours and is available by pager/cell phone outside of normal business hours.
- May be required to report to Mass General Brigham entities outside of normal business hours to manage events that require emergency management support.
- Ability to function effectively in stressful and complex situations.
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
- Education
- Experience
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Proven project management skills, including experience leading dynamic projects, setting realistic goals, and delivering quality work products.
- Maturity and operational problem-solving/decision-making experience.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in emergency management preferred

Compensation
- $79,560.00 - $115,720.80/Annual
