- Job Description Tipico is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Every day, you'll work in a highly collaborative and agile environment with cross-functional team members to develop products and create technical solutions that push us forward.

- You are building software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
- You are providing primary operational support and engineering for multiple large-scale distributed software applications
- You are participating in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
Requirements
- Bachelor/master's degree in computer science or an equivalent degree
- 2+ years of experience in similar positions like Senior Software Developer or Performance Lab Engineer.
- You can program (structured and OOP) using one or more high-level languages, such as Java, JavaScript and Python
- You are an expert in cloud computing technologies (AWS)
- You have a proactive approach in identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- You are fluent in English.
- If you have a working knowledge of German, it would be an advantage
Skills
- Education. Bachelor/master's degree in computer science or an equivalent degree
- Programming Skills. You can program (structured and OOP) using one or more high-level languages, such as Java, JavaScript and Python
- Subject Matter Expert. You are an expert in cloud computing technologies (AWS)
- You have solid knowledge and experience working with Kubernetes (administration, optimisation, CRDs)
- Proficiency in CI/CD and provisioning tools (GitHub actions, Terraform).
- Benefit. Vendor certifications (AWS) or equivalent, Experience in a Java-based development environment (Java Background is of benefit)
- Language skills. You are fluent in English. If you have a working knowledge of German, it would be an advantage
