About the role
- Apave America is currently a qualified professional to join our team as an Operations Manager located in Anacortes, WA.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and a thorough understanding of ISO standards.
- This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance, quality assurance, and operational excellence across various projects and locations.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key clients, and negotiate contracts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and expand market presence within the region.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance service quality.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of professionals, including technicians, sales representatives, and support staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Management experience with a minimum of 5 years promoting operations and sales skillset.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to effectively communicate, assess processes and maximize engagement at all levels within the organization.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in using business management resources, software and tools.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb.
