About the role

  • This role is for a Field Service Technician specializing in HP Indigo Digital Printing Presses.
  • In this role, you'll be the face of HP for our customers, delivering exceptional on-site service, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • You'll work from your home base in the greater South Carolina area, traveling to customer sites to ensure their digital printing solutions run flawlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
  • Proactive Support: Use monitoring tools to identify and prevent potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide clear updates, resolve concerns promptly, and maintain high satisfaction levels.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, bend, and stoop throughout the day
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Knowledge of digital printing press technology
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
  • Typical candidate possesses 4-6 years in field service, technical support, or printing press repair
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
