About the role
- ROLE SUMMARY The Solutions Architect is Temporal's primary customer-facing technical leader within the Majors team (Central).
- Your contribution is vital in positioning Temporal against alternative technologies, helping customer engineering teams expand production applications using Temporal, and owning the technical relationship with key decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with prospects to determine if their applications fit Temporal's platform well.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to develop and execute comprehensive account plans across both new opportunities and expansion, accounting for the customer's long-term success and outcome.
- Manage and nurture relationships with technical decision-makers within customer organizations, ensuring they fully leverage Temporal's capabilities.
- Create reusable technical assets, reference architectures, playbooks, and demos that provides value for other Solution Architects.
- Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal's supported languages: Java, Golang, Python, C#, TypeScript, Ruby, or Rust.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services.
