Responsibilities
- Optimize accounting workflows and operational efficiencies
- Identify and develop new client relationships
- support business development and practice growth initiatives
- Lead the monthly close process, including preparation and review of financial statements
- Oversee and manage Revenue Distributions
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
- Maintain strict adherence to reporting deadlines and deliverables
- Utilize and manage accounting systems, including PAK Energy software

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong understanding of the upstream Oil & Gas sector, including industry-specific accounting practices (upstream experience required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience in multi-entity environments
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
Nice to have
- Master's degree and/or CMA or CPA designation preferred
- Demonstrated experience with oil and gas-specific accounting software (PAK Energy preferred)
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Experience in or strong appetite for client advisory and business development
- existing book of business or referral network a plus
