About the role

These services are critical to maintaining regulatory compliance, patient safety, and operational readiness within IHS healthcare facilities.
Duties will encompass preventive maintenance, emergency repair, installation, and documentation of work through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Conduct routine repairs on refrigeration, air conditioning, heating systems under supervision of higher-graded staff.

The Maintenance Worker shall perform a full range of duties in plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical repair, and equipment maintenance.
Perform general building maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and grounds work.
Paint interior and exterior surfaces, patch drywall, and maintain finishes.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical lighting systems, including switches, relays, and ballasts.
Maintain some grounds maintenance, including snow removal, facilities access paths, and equipment upkeep.
Perform other duties related to maintenance and operations of facilities systems.
General trade skills across painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC support.

Some evenings, nights, weekends or other non-standard duty hours may be required to meet operational needs.
Qualifications The Maintenance Worker shall have a minimum of 3 years of experience at positions of similar context and complexity as this one.
Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen to work in support of a federal agency.
