The successful candidate will bring foundational cybersecurity knowledge, familiarity with vulnerability assessment processes, and the ability to analyze technical information effectively.
Less than 2 years of professional experience in vulnerability assessment or related cybersecurity functions.
Hands-on experience with at least one vulnerability scanning platform, such as Tenable, Qualys, Nexpose, Prisma Cloud, or Burp.
Knowledge of vulnerability management best practices and cybersecurity risk assessment principles.
Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO, NIST, COBIT, HIPAA/HITECH, and related regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical findings and recommend improvements.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain security concepts clearly.
Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Preferred experience with additional frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, or HITRUST.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus.

The position combines technical analysis, vulnerability management, reporting, and collaboration with security and technology teams.

Competitive annual salary range of $86,000–$96,000, based on experience, location, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.
