Requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays
- As one of the nation's largest award-winning structural engineering consultants, IMEG has experience across market sectors and project types, from new high-rise construction to adaptive reuse of historic structures
Nice to have
- Produce well written and organized reports
- Assist project design teams as required by project
- Interpret and evaluate field conditions and laboratory reports
- Conduct job site visits and capture photographs of relevant field conditions for report documentation
- Prepare detailed written reports of observations and project discrepancies, including documentation of collaboration with the Structural Engineer of Record (SEoR) for remedial direction
- Assist with answering requests for information (RFIs), interpretation of test results, and contractor change orders
- Associates degree, or certificate, in Engineering, or equivalent, preferred
- 2 years of experience minimum required, 5 preferred, in structural inspection or the building design consulting industry preferred
