About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operational efficiency. You take on a backlog of known inefficiencies and ship fixes. You move fast, you close tickets, and what you build holds up.
  • Documentation and maintainability. What you build belongs to the company, not you. You document your work, build for handoff, and design for future growth.
  • Delivery predictability - projects you own land on the timelines you commit to.
  • You leverage agentic software development to build the lightweight, functional tools the business needs - using no-code/low-code platforms, and scripting where it fits.
  • You move fast, you close tickets, and what you build holds up.
  • What you build belongs to the company, not you.
  • You document your work, build for handoff, and design for future growth.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Biz Ops, Engineering, or equivalent - you understand how a company like Apera actually runs.
  • Demonstrated ability to ship functional tools using AI-assisted development, no-code/low-code, or lightweight automation.

Nice to have

  • Experience with HubSpot, Atlassian, MS365.
  • Familiarity with AI coding tools and Git.
  • Background in a startup or scale-up where resourcefulness was the differentiator.
  • This role is the entry point into a systems function at Apera.
  • A clear mandate to learn agentic software development in order to fix what's broken.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this role is $ 83,200 -$ 98,000 per year.
