- The technician is responsible for packaging, preparation, and distribution of medications, inventory control, customer service and maintaining pharmacy records.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and appropriate inventories of medications and supplies and complete inventory audits, such as cycle counts and nursing unit inspections.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations, and document regulatory requirements such as temperature logs, scheduled activities and training.
- Ability to perform algebraic calculations necessary for the preparation of extemporaneous compounds

- The inpatient pharmacy technician supports pharmacists in providing pharmacy services.
Requirements
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Nice to have

- 3-6 months of sterile compounding experience preferred

- You will be required to comply with this program, which will include obtaining an influenza vaccination on an annual basis or obtaining an approved exemption.
