About the role

Responsibilities

  • Apply model-based system engineering (MBSE) to define system functions and develop functional and performance requirements.
  • Apply model-based system engineering (MBSE) to develop architectural views using DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
  • Ensuring the efficiency, security, and support of the organization's goals.
  • Determining and implementing build versus buy strategies, mentor personnel, and views of the overall business strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience in DoDAF, SysML and UML modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience using Cameo Enterprise Architect
  • Experience with MATLAB, STK, AFSIM, Simulink, Model Center, or other comparable modeling and simulation tools
  • Experience in Cameo and SysML applications
  • Hands-on experience with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  • Experience in modeling and graphic representations
  • SECURITY CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret security clearance REQUIRED
  • Architecture & Design using Cameo
  • Rational Rhapsody, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or other comparable tools
  • Proven experience in use of descriptive modeling for architecture solutions (e.g., building models and diagrams with Cameo EA)
  • Solid understanding of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good leadership and motivational skills

Nice to have

  • Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics) or equivalent preferred but not required

  • Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs.
