Responsibilities
- Lead the development of real-time C++ software components that that enable vehicle guidance and status monitoring of the self-driving truck
- Contribute to simulation and testing frameworks for validation of algorithms under diverse operational design domains (ODDs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (back office, perception, controls, safety) to ensure end-to-end system integration
- Drive continuous improvement in software quality, safety, performance, and development processes
- Support safety-critical development practices aligned with automotive standards and production release requirements

Requirements
- I n this position, you are expected to demonstrate technical leadership, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and drive cross-team initiatives across software, systems, and product domains.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field plus demonstrates compet

- This role focuses on developing high-quality, production-ready software that enables our Mission Control and Remote Assistance teams to interact with the self - driving truck's software stack capabilities.
- The software developed in this role directly enables communication with and command over our vehicles to sense their surroundings, respond intelligently when necessary, and help keep the system operating saf e ly - advancing Torc's mission to commercialize self-driving trucks for safe, sustained, long-haul innovation in the freight industry.
